I was 8 years old when I slept in a tent for the first time, I was 9 when I fell down the stairs in my baby walker: it is easy to realize that I have always had an inclination to exceptional situations…
Since I was a child I have been lucky to travel through Europe by a camping van, I have experienced and loved handmade works, I have read stories about outstanding adventures.
When I was 18 I had the dream to speak all the languages of the world so I started my studies in translation studies and teaching Italian, carrying on going around.
I was around 23 years old when I realized I could become a digital nomad. Fond of technologies all my life, I started spending my free time among knitting, sewing and the new captivating web 2.0 world.
While working as a lexicographer, I began self-studying markup languages, graphic softwares, usability, accessibility and graphic design, all with web implementation. A growing experimentation of photo editing, of the beauty behind blank space on a web page, of the harmony of some colour palettes made me found my real poetry!
It was not enough for me. I enrolled in a web design master’s degree, where I met people and worlds too fascinating not to be explored by my curiosity. I came back home and started my Webly project, going through web content and ranging from copywriting to social media management.
I am based in London right now, working as an Italian teacher and Web editor.
Meanwhile, I carry on reading, studying, discovering.
